A story that began in 1946 with the progress of a workshop that has become a great industrial carpentry

1946

The MAISTRI laboratory, founded by Silvio Maistri, was born as an artisan carpentry and with the intention of participating in the reconstruction of a town that was experiencing one of the most troubled periods in its history . These were years of innovation and a new scenario was also emerging in the home environment, that of the living-kitchen , "the American dream of all women ", which transforms the kitchen into a space for relationships and participation .

1970

At the end of the 70s, following the death of the founder, the four children, had collected considerable managerial skills, the legacy of industrious hard work and seriousness of management, making the company increasingly large and important . In fact, from an artisan carpentry it passed to become an industrial carpentry, without however modifying the characteristics of production of a high quality level .

1980

An activity that was able to face the social and economic changes of the time with great foresight; and it was precisely at this moment that in the same town, the new plant began to operate, on an area of 45,000 square metres, which contains the most modern and technologically advanced machinery in the kitchen furniture production sector .

1980s - 1990s

"The kitchen of solid principles " this is the slogan that accompanied the MAISTRI logo in the numerous advertising campaigns made on national TV and in football stadiums . Information that has helped MAISTRI to develop as one of the leading national companies in the proposal of high quality kitchens .

1980s - 1990s

In these years MAISTRI evolved more and more with new fine finishes, innovative kitchen models and a great technological research . Maistri kitchens soon became a design product, becoming part of the daily life of Italians while maintaining the concepts of tradition .

A success that made history such as the “LIVING” model, the first kitchen project designed with a groove, born between 1985 and 1989, consisting of a 45 ° door in Italian walnut combined with a laminate or natural stone worktop .

1995

Soon a great milestone arrived for the company: the first half century of activity . With great pride we celebrated an anniversary of 50 years of well-made kitchens .

2000

The long experience of maistri gained over the years of activity has created an extremely dynamic technical production structure . From department to department, a robotic working process transforms the raw material into a finished product . But between the work of modern technology there is the man who, with the expert hand of a true craftsman, works the oversized panels one by one and takes care of the details during production .

2012

In 2012 Asso SPA, a Veronese entrepreneurial reality specializing in the production of high-level furnishings and contracts, acquired the Maistri brand and factories. A change of management has been able to grasp and preserve the founding spirit of Maistri by adding an important heritage of history, industrial skills, and product culture

2014

With a defined entrepreneurial project Asso SPA decided to buy the Minotticucine brand, a leader in the kitchen sector, for a well-defined development project in the foreign market. This acquisition has allowed the MAISTRI brand to begin an evolutionary project in design, which no longer looks only at Italy, but crosses the world. An organizational and research implementation that focuses on a further increase in quality. This was also possible thanks to the collaboration between the designer Alberto Minotti and the internal staff of Asso SPA .
Minotticucine has made the company more and more expert and sensitive to the themes of taste of a kitchen project that respects the traditions of made in Italy, but that knows how to adapt to international needs.
